Yu Ai’s husband, Liu Xun, is involved in an internal dispute of the cooperative company and detained by the police for suspected bribery. She looks for a lawyer and then collect evidence for getting him off there. Meanwhile, she needs to take care of her father with serious illness. One day she accidentally finds the evidence of his cheating. She suffers when she faces with love, responsibility, and betrayal. During this bad situation, she realizes her self-awareness.

Zhou Rang is the post-90s female filmmaker from Heilongjiang, China. She was an atypical girl in the northeast of China. Director Statement

With the development of economy and the improvement of people's living standards, the attention of Chinese people has shift from the physical to the spiritual. The values ​​of young people are even more affected by the changes from the new age. They are no longer bound by traditional views on marriage and life, but they are concerned about their inner satisfaction and self-growth.
This short film is about the dilemma of a woman in marriage that facing with her husband in custody she finds his cheating and her father meanwhile gets serious illness which brings the pressure of traditional values from Chinese family, finally she realizes the process of inner spiritual awakening and growth after experiencing this inner distress. The film is through the perspectives of a post-90s woman in the traditional family and marriage, and with social responsibilities.
This film focuses on the traditional family, marriage views, and women's personal growth, which arouses the emotional resonance of the audience.
