GIRL IN THE RED BURQA

Set in the remote foothills of the Himalayas, the film is based on a true story. 'Shahbaz' is a young man born into the difficult life of a day laborer. His far from easy life is made decidedly more complicated when he runs into a beautiful girl from a big city. 'Armeena' belongs to a well to do family who’s bureaucrat father has been posted to this remote town for a few years. Every new secret meet up between Shahbaz and Armeena solidifies their unlikely connection. But love comes at a price. It cannot be accepted by those around them. The consequences could be dire.
