GILLES GEARY graduated from The Juilliard School of Drama in 2017. He has since appeared in The Path for Hulu and starred in two Netflix series, The I-land and Archive 81. His film work includes the features Echo Boomers directed by Seth Savoy and The Islander directed by Zoran Lisinac and Domagoj Mazuran. He made his New York City stage debut in Martin McDonagh’s Hangmen at the Atlantic Theatre in 2018, directed by Matthew Dunster. He starred in Sam Shepard’s Curse of The Starving Class directed by Terry Kinney at the Signature Theatre in 2019. Gilles wrote his first play the same year, Western Decor, which was accepted into Wooden Arrow’s first scratch night (London, March 2020). He recently finished directing his first full-financed short film shot in Spain of 2023 entitled The Recreant, which he wrote and also had a role in. The film was produced by Arara Films. Gilles was also an Artist In Residence at the prestigious Fiskars AiR in 2024. He is represented by Range Media Partners in the United States and Independent Talent in the United Kingdom.
Gilles directed his first short film The Recreant, which was shot in Spain and produced by Arara Films and starred Anastasia Russo. That same year he founded his film company Spokane Films. He was an Artist in Residence during December 2024 at the world famous Fiskars AiR program in Finland.
