Green Film Festival in Seoul awards best international and domestic environmental films with 3 prizes of international competition and 3 prizes of Korean Competition. The following is the details of the awards which will be given at the award ceremony.

A. Green Competition
1) Best Feature Film 10,000,000 KRW
2) Special Jury Award 5,000,000 KRW
3) Audience Choice 1,000,000 KRW

B. Korean Green Competition
1) Grand Prize 5,000,000 KRW
2) Excellence Prize 3,000,000 KRW
3) Special Audience Jury Award 2,000,000 KRW

Rules & Terms

Submission Deadline
Jan. 12, 2018 (on arrival)

Eligibility
A. Films completed after January 1, 2016 and never been submitted to GFFIS before
B. Films (both shorts and feature-length) can be submitted.
But, the competition of GFFIS for only feature-length films (more than 50 mins)

To reduce carbon emissions, GFFIS prefers online registration.

A. Complete the entry form via Google Docs (https://goo.gl/48ZchX).
We ask to include the private preview link (Vimeo, Youtube, etc.) or send a full-length of preview file via e-mail(gffiskorea@gmail.com)
B. Download the online entry form from GFFIS website(www.gffis.org) to complete and submit it to GFFIS official e-mail(gffiskorea@gmail.com), and send a full-length preview file or a private link via e-mail, or DVD (if there is no other choices)

    I was not able to attend this festival but I was very impressed with the communication with the staff, the quality of the films that were chosen and the intelligent description of my film by a programmer. I have also heard that this is considered one of the best environmental film festivals worldwide. Very honored to be selected out of so many submissions.
