Awards & Prizes

Every short film selected for the "Movies In The Mitten" program will receive an artist fee. An audience choice award will also go to the top vote getter in the "Movies In The Mitten" program.

The Greater Farmington Film Festival screens documentaries, narrative features, animated films, and shorts.

For our 10th anniversary we are accepting entries for our "Movies In The Mitten" program. This is a short film program for filmmakers FROM Michigan or films MADE in Michigan. All short films must be under 30 minutes and have been completed within the past 5 years for consideration.

    The GFFF was great to work with. I ended up not being able to attend the actually festival unfortunately but their communication with me leading up to it was fantastic.
