GENESIS OF THE ASHANTIS

The Golden Horn once hidden from the sight of man after the chief priest then, Anokye, commanded as a sign of supremacy and greatness over the Guans after the Ashantis raged war on the Guans. The Guans through trade finds out the Horn still exists and plans to get hold of it to be superior over the Ashantis but only the chosen one from the lot can battle the spirits of the skies, earth and waters to possess the horn. The quest of determination and zealousness begins as the two tribes through their own means try to get hold of the Golden Horn as gods of the waters (Asuo Nyamaa), the earth (Asaase Yaa) and the Spirits of the forefathers played their respective roles in the quest.
