Future Folklore is a VR experience where discarded garments transform into Landfill Spirits, ethereal beings carrying the memories of forgotten fashion. Set in a surreal, fashion-inspired landscape, the story critiques fast fashion and hyper-consumerism while celebrating the emotional connections we share with clothing. Through immersive storytelling and striking visuals, participants are drawn into a ritual of reflection, confronting the environmental consequences of throwaway culture. Blending the digital and physical worlds, Future Folklore reimagines the role of fashion as a medium for storytelling and sustainability.
