Either the worst organized film festival that just completely fell apart, or a total scam to get entry fees. All reviews state the same. There was no communication, constant delays and reschedules, and the festival that never took place.

I would have to agree with my fellow screenwriters, if I could give this film festival 0 stars I most definitely would.
A complete paucity of communication and social media presence. I emailed organisers for more details only to receive no response.
This Daisy Franklin whoever she is, is most definitely a con artist, taking the entry fees of hardworking writers like myself and scamming them.
Initially I was so pleased to be selected and to hear the awards event was to be in London in March 2019. I also (like other writers) planned on going back to London, as by this time I was no longer in the country, to attend the awards ceremony, only to be told one day before the event that it had been cancelled due to the spurious reason of 'ill health' and would now take place on May 30th. Funny that... Guess what! I received another email yesterday May 29th saying the event had been cancelled again for similar reasons and has now been postponed until July 6/. What a load of horse s***!! We should all be refunded for the lack of respect, consideration and inconvenience.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. And it should be banned from platforms like FilmFreeway.

ZERO communication beyond the initial "acceptance" letter generated by Film Freeway. The date for the "festival" was moved and the wrong date was on the invitation. The organizers were supposed to update the website with the list of winners. That still hasn't happened. I sent an email before the event to ask for more information and never heard anything back. There appeared to be no press for this event and I still have no idea if the festival actually happened or if anyone won anything. What a disgraceful way to run a festival. I do NOT recommend this event to anyone.

  • I agree with the other reviewers. I spent 30 dollars submitting my screenplay to two different categories, received a notification that it had been selected for the festival, and that was the last time I heard from them. I even considered attending the gala event in London, so I emailed them asking for more information and never heard back. I tried to find pictures of the event which apparently never happened, as I could not find anything anywhere. Their social media platforms have been deleted. This is a SCAM. I feel sorry for the ones that bought tickets for the event.

I agree with the other two reviews. They told me my short film script was accepted, and then rejected my short film. I was pretty excited to go anyway, even though i was just there for a script and SOOOO excited to attend their fancy gala event that probably never happened. I tried to search the festival on Film Freeway recently and didn't see it - looks like they may have moved to a different platform. Anyway - I think it is probably a scam and I'm p***** that i spend $10 with discount codes. Don't waste your time or money.
