Director Biography - Julia Aprea

Choreographer, dancer, teacher and manager. Graduated from the Teaching Staff of Contemporary Dance at the School of Classical Dances in La Plata, Argentina. At the same time, she trained independently in different techniques of contemporary dance, improvisation and choreographic composition, Contact Improvisation, and different sensory-perception disciplines with national and international teachers.

He directed the works "La Resonancia", "La Maravilla", and the interventions "El Murmullo" and "Montón" participating in different festivals in the city of La Plata and Buenos Aires. Member of the group "Proyecto en Bruto" with whom created and performed the works “Toma 3” and “Partida” and the video dance “Promenade”, which have received different subsidies and national and international awards Founder and member of the “Colectivo Siempre” with which she has created and participated in various interventions political / artistic She is part of the dance group of the Faculty of Arts of the National University of La Plata "Aula 20" as a dancer and general assistant.

Since 2005 she has given different dance workshops for children and adults in public and private institutions in the city of La Plata. She is an adjunct professor of the Body Work chair of the UNLP Faculty of Arts since 2010. She coordinates the Sótano-Club Cultural cultural center, located in the city of La Plata, since 2012.
