Walking with the camera between the old settlements of the small town of Opole in Poland, we came across Ms Ewa's vegetables and fruits shop. Buying a bag of plums, we started a conversation, which then turned into a story about life, relationships, space, economics and passing.

We are a group of students from three different European universities, interested in trying to combine scientific research with visual methods. Filip Szela is a Master's student in Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland; Charlotte Doggett is a Master's student in Peace and Conflict Transformation at The Arctic University of Norway; Toriqul Islam is a Masters's student at the department of Human Geography: Globalisation, Media and Culture at Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany.
