I grew up wanting to become a film actor. All my heroes and villains existed on the screen and I wanted to be a part of that world. However, as I watched more and more, I realized my fascination lied in film creation-- not acting. Immediately, I began to make my own home movies and the obsession has lasted to this day. Film, as an artform, has the fantastic ability to challenge people-- and I want to challenge and change minds just as mine was all those years ago.
I wanted to capture some complex and transcendent topics in this short but in a grounded way. By keeping it short and sweet, but also hinting at complexity, I hope to get the audience's mind engaged and give them something to think about after the credits have rolled.
