D'une Montagne à L'autre (From One Mountain to Another)
Andrea, Alexandre, Erwan, Pierre, and Katia share one thing in common: they have all been diagnosed with digestive cancer and have had to face the daunting mountain of illness. As an alternative path to healing, Dr. Poureau proposes another climb—a real one this time: the Pic de l’Étendard, a glacier in the French Alps peaking at 3,464 of altitude. Over six months, we follow these novice climbers through a demanding yet deeply human journey filled with budding friendships, moments of doubt, hard-won triumphs, and personal revelations. As they scale this extraordinary summit, each of them shares their feelings and perspectives, offering a multifaceted and authentic glimpse into life with digestive cancer.

Young Strasbourg resident, passionate about filmmaking since the age of 15 and fascinated by Youtube, it wasn't until 2023, after returning from an exchange program in the United States, that Maxime officially launched his career in audiovisual production with an end-of-studies internship.
He quickly realised that he had found his calling.
When, in 2023, he was presented with the Etendard du Cancer digestif project, it was a dream come true: to make his first documentary. From then on, “giving a voice to those who really have something to say” never made so much sense to him.
