Director Statement

My favorite form of introspection is reviewing the media that I’ve consumed along my journey. From My Screen is devoted to a large chunk of my adolescence in which I opened up a world of horror the likes of which I was not yet familiar. I owe part of my interest in the horror genre to the YouTubers and fan fictions that I engaged with as a kid, and this short is a way for me to peel back why it was to engaging to begin with.
