Friendly Fire
"FRIENDLY FIRE"
The film deals with a theme from the end of World War II, where an armed conflict between the allied forces, the Red Army and the American Air Force took place in the area of Nisa. This incident took place on November 7, 1944, shortly after the liberation of Nis, where the forces of the Red Army and the People's Liberation Army of Yugoslavia were stationed. The US aviation suddenly attacked the city of Nis and a convoy of Red Army vehicles moving along the Nis-Aleksinac road. The whole event is shrouded in secrecy to this day. We tried to find out more about the event by talking to historians and searching archival materials. According to some historical facts, this conflict is considered the beginning of the Cold War.
