Director Biography - Shante Jefferson

Shanté "2Cool" Jefferson is an American director, writer, producer and actor from Youngstown, Ohio.

He moved to Los Angeles in the 90's with his R&B group which later disbanded. Shanté later pursued acting and starred in numerous commercials which led to his career behind the scenes directing, writing and producing.

Jefferson is the CEO of 2Cool Films where he continues to create film and television.

Director Statement

Friend Zone was my second short film but the first thing that I directed that I did not write. It gave me great challenges that grew me up as a director.
I wanted to capture the real feelings of what it's like when people's relationships and hearts are on the line. Because a heart is nothing to be toyed with.
