Plot Synopsis:
Three desert rats find the suburb of America.
Immediately, our Desert Rats are seen as foreign invader type species and are captured by a pair of local housewives. Compared to their previous lifestyle, this truly is a life of luxury, being pampered and spoiled and groomed by the upper eschaton of a Civilised Zociety for the Bi-Annual-South-Western-Regional-Rat-Judging-Competition-and-Trade-Convention-For-Elite-Home-Owners (BASWRRJCTCEHO for short). Only the most prestigious and refined pettycoats are allowed entry to this regal competition. Izzrat and Jacorat give somewhat stiff and vapid auditions in the talent-competition and are easily outmatched by the virtuosity of Adarat and his sweet FORTUNE brand guitar. Impressed, the Judges whisk Adarat away for the final competition, while Izzrat and Jacorat are banished to the eternal dressing room, where all the debauchery and sin of the entertainment industry engulf to the unprepared rodent.
With the preparations complete, power is cut to the guest Band and are promptly hooked offstage as the main event is set to debut. Izzrat and Jacorat are invited to the performance as runner-up contestants, eager to cheer on their friend, who has finally gotten a big break in the biz. Adarat, groomed and dressed, launches into a prepared classical number to rightly earned adoration of the crowd and the judges. As Adarat plays on, he sees Izzrat and Jacorat supporting from the crowd and realises where his heart truly belongs, supported by the rest of The Band, ripping into multiple killer solos and ascending to guitar nirvana as a multi-limbed yeshiva of rock.
Infuriated by the complete disregard of the finer arts and the general vibe of the competition, the judges and their housewives try to cane the rats offstage. Alas, it is too late, and the invasion of the long-hairs has begun to infect the sleepy snobby town. Our Desert Rats, realising the suburbs suck hot eggwater, leave town for greener grass.
