Fraternal
Fraternal twins Eva and Eli could not be more different: Eva is the president of College Feminists and Eli is a politically incorrect frat bro who can't stop lifting. When Eli's fraternity disbands, Eva is forced to let him move in with her, creating a divergent mix of her kooky roommates and his macho best friends.

Delaney Glassner (Director) is a junior at Northwestern University. She got involved in comedy at 14, joining a sketch comedy group through Upright Citizens Brigade, and since then has dreamt of writing and directing sitcoms professionally. She is excited to be a part of Fraternal- her first foray into sitcom directing!
Liv Glassman (Writer, Showrunner) is a senior at Northwestern University from New Jersey majoring in Radio, Television, and Film with a concentration in Comedy Arts and minors in Theatre and Psychology. As an aspiring writer, producer, and entertainer, Liv’s life goal is to use comedy as a tool to open people's hearts and minds. Glassman’s works include the original pilot Fraternal (Writer, Executive Producer, Lead Actress), for which she received the 2021 Northwestern Sitcom Production Grant to produce, RealityCheck (Co-Creator, Director, Producer), a web series about the virtual expectations versus the comedic reality of college dating, and Undying (Executive Producer) through Applause for a Cause, a student organization that annually produces a feature to benefit charity. Activism in art, art in activism is a virtue Liv follows closely, and while at Northwestern, she has held executive roles on College Feminists, Lipstick Theatre Company, and the Women’s Film Alliance. Liv has been working as Comedy Development and Programming Intern at Fox Entertainment and can’t wait to begin her post-grad career in comedy entertainment.
As college students studying the craft of filmmaking during a worldwide pandemic, working on FRATERNAL was a huge source of comfort and comedy for our creative team. We are so grateful to have been finally able to make it, after months of Zoom meetings, constant COVID testing, and huge changes made to our script to help our cast and crew stay safe on set. Our hope for our sitcom proof-of-concept is that it sits at the axis of comedy and introspection, containing a lighthearted over-dramatic musical sequence evocative of CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND and battle of the sexes dynamics of NEW GIRL, as well as a strong satirization of both frat culture and girlboss culture of turning activism and political correctness into a personality trait. The short pilot is intended to create a blueprint for a series that would further explore these dynamics. We hope it makes you laugh!
