After studying contemporary dance and Cultural Studies in Germany, France and the Netherlands, Franziska went on her path translating emotions and experiences into movement, dance and images. Inspired by contact and different surroundings, she creates (instant) location performances and dance videos.
Her intuitive journey took her to the South of Spain, where she currently works on a major dance video project, artistically treating the controversial Catholic tradition of the 'Semana Santa', initially inspired by its impressive and pompous music.
