Experiencing Interruptions?

Frankly

Frankly is an experimental fashion short about unfiltered thoughts and quiet moments. Two girls pose for a photographer, smoke on a rooftop in New York, and speak candidly — not to explain, but simply to be heard. A story without answers, just presence and sincerity in its purest form.

Director Statement

There was no traditional pre-production — we spontaneously joined a photo shoot organized by friends, bringing only a film camera and a shared vision. What followed was a free-flowing creative process. We filmed in a studio setting as the models posed, supported by a talented team of stylists, hair and makeup artists. Later, we captured the same energy on a New York rooftop, a setting that always feels both cinematic and intimate.

For us, Frankly is a visual statement that balances sincerity and playfulness — something between fashion and fleeting thoughts, between serious and not-so-serious. It’s a piece born out of pure curiosity and the joy of collaboration.
