Gareth Macready delivers spare parts for work while wielding words and building worlds. He has been a taxi driver, doorman, karate instructor, comedian, street performer, and theatre improvisation teacher. He married a Japanese lady, had kids, and went to Japan, where he worked as a variety act, built a theatre, advised Japan’s biggest comedy company in collaboration with the City Council on Osaka’s inaugural PerformaFest, and was awarded the KEY TO THE CITY. His stories The Weredragons of Ninigi, Mortality Rhapsody, Don’t You Know Who I Used to Be, Saving Beautiful Moon Angel, Cheers Big Ears, and Apprentice to and Empress - a Prologue have all been published in Clarendon House Publications' Galaxy anthologies.
