Francisco is young Mexican Writer - Director born and raised in Mexico City, with passion for the thriller, suspense and sci- fi genres. He studied at the New York Film Academy based in Los Angeles, California in 2011 where he graduated in Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, and took workshop programs in screenwriting and photography.
After spending 5 years in Los Angeles working in film productions and studying, he came back to Mexico City in 2016 where he has worked in several feature films, T.V. series, and commercials. He reinforced his skills in screenwriting in a workshop with Guillermo Arriaga, writer of Babel, Amores Perros and 21 Grams. His thesis film “Broken Innocence” has been awarded in several festivals in 2018 internationally as best thriller, best director, honorable mentions in best picture and directing. While his short “Broken Innocence” still participating in festivals around the world, he is already preparing his next projects as director and feature film screenplays.
