Rules & Terms

Ownership:

All submitters must hold the rights to their films or scripts, including music and other media used. By submitting, you confirm that you own the rights or have secured the necessary permissions.

Submission Formats:

We accept digital submissions in widely recognized formats. For films, DCP or HD files are preferred. Scripts should be in PDF format.

Subtitles:

Films in any language are welcome. For non-English and non-German films, English or German subtitles are encouraged but not mandatory.

Submission Eligibility:

We accept works of all significance—whether you’re an emerging artist or an established filmmaker, your project will be considered on equal terms.

Premiere Status:

We do not require premiere status. Films that have been screened or awarded at other festivals are welcome to submit.

Refund Policy:

Submission fees are non-refundable.

Selection:

All selected films and scripts will be notified by email and will be required to provide the final version for screening or review within the given deadlines.

Promotion:

By submitting, you allow Frame Alchemy to use excerpts of your film, script details, and promotional images for marketing purposes related to the festival.

The festival is not responsible for any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property violations that may arise from the submission of your work.
