Fragments of a Hologram Rose
This film is a conceptual experimental video taken from William Gibson's short story "Fragments of a Hologram Rose”. Using symbolic deconstruction, it describes the main character who is addicted to the illusion of self after losing love, and contrasts the difference between the human body and the spiritual senses.
After the boy has experienced changes in life and the passing of emotions, he presents an irreversible sense of sadness and helplessness. With the help of the sensory experience device, he enters the fantasy space, where he liberates the body and obtains the calmness in the soul.

The research field is VR multi-faceted narrative and science fiction prototype. His academic background spans drama and design, and he has been focusing on ecological conservation, energy pollution and other issues for a long time. In recent years, he has combined with biological genetic issues to form a creative group "Distant Relatives Laboratory", which continues to research and create the future of mankind. Published.
In his early years, he participated in the design and performance of the theater company, integrating live music and video installations to participate in cross-field performances. Cooperated with Shakespeare’s sisters’ troupe, creation agency, Wuyou puppet theater, once again refused to grow up, Tang Meiyun opera troupe, Wanhua opera troupe, Sanqueyi troupe, A troupe, Pirate Fire troupe, etc. After studying in graduate school, I focused on the combination of dynamic images and technology and art. In the creation case of the "Remote Relatives Laboratory", I used field visits as the framework, and added the setting of sci-fi texts to create "pseudo sci-fi films" that coexist with reality and fiction. form.
In 2019, the research topic is Cyborg Mechanical Biochemical Transformation and Female Body Consciousness. During this period, a text workshop was held at Yangming University to share sci-fi creation methods, continue the concept of sci-fi archetypes, and bring elements of technological fantasy into script creation.
