Director Biography - Murphy Rhodes, Jazz Jago

Murphy was forced into acting. And he's never looked back.

Bad at making friends as a child, his poor mother tried her best to get him interested in extra-curricular activities. Archery, badminton, football. Nothing worked. Until one day she took him to a youth theater when he was 7. No, he hated that too. Luckily for the world, she'd run out of other options and so he was made to go back. Knowing full well that his stubbornness no longer worked, he decided to roll with it. And never stopped rolling. He was awarded the MDP (Most Developed Person) award at his youth theater after three years with them.

After years of school plays and short student films, Murphy began writing his own films and formed his own production company XRhodes Films. He was also lucky enough to perform in the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016 as well as be a part of one of the last ever shows at Liverpool's Lantern Theatre. His most recent role was professional interviewer 'Joseph Pecker' in "Forward Slash/Jobs" - a webseries that Murphy wrote, co-directed and co-produced.
