After beginning his career in acting at the age of 10, Hamish began filmmaking in 2015. Humble beginnings creating short films on his iPhone lead him to pursue the art into high school and later through Flinders University. Having acted in films such as "Welcome to Iron Knob", "The Pack" and "Talk to Me", Hamish is well versed in the film industry. Since graduating MAPS/AIE with an Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media, Hamish has found success in “After Service”, his most recent short film which took home several awards at the Fleurieu Film Festival 2024, including Best Youth Filmmaker. Looking to the future, Hamish hopes to continue creating a diverse range of films that touch on prevalent issues in today’s society and extend his knowledge and love of the film industry.
