Director Statement

Forgive and Forget is the most I've put into any project. After a stressful couple of months where I did not receive acceptance to really any of the top film schools in the nation; I moved into the summer between my senior year of highs school and my freshman year of college with a chip on my shoulder. The pre-production portion of this movie took about as long as the entirety of any other film I had worked on in the past,in part, because I wanted this one to be perfect. I raised money (along with the help of my partner Joe Eskanos) and we together got new equipment, casted real actors, and paid for locations. Every shot of Forgive and Forget was particularly chosen and color corrected to emulate everything I have learned through the many film classes and programs I have been apart of. I pulled out every storytelling trick I have and while understanding it's not perfect, I am extremely proud of the work I put into this project and I hope whoever sees it enjoys the heck out of it as well.
