Forest Warrior (Xondaro Ka'aguy Reguá)

Our film "Xondaro Ka'aguy Reguá" (Forest Warrior) is about a warrior with powers, a futuristic fiction, but also very contemporary. Starring Kunumi Mc, this warrior is for us a representation of what is to be indigenous, a strong being, so belonging to nature, a point of being one with her. Portray of a new generation of indigenous people who use education, art and technology to defend their rights and their lands. The film is a tribute to all the indigenous peoples of Brazil and the world, and also a manifest of creative freedom that allows, as human beings, to make their individual decisions such as singing rap, writing books, having a career, moving through other cultures and even so, it is still being indigenous.
The videoclip brings artistic references from different peoples from the world. Made for an original sound, which brings samples of indigenous violin with trap and reggaeton songs combined with Guarani language (from indigenous ethnicity), representing a new cultural movement, the indigenous futuristic. The music brings the reality of indigenous peoples of strength and resistance, since the invasion of the Portuguese people (white man) in Brazil to the present moment, under the view of an indigenous person.
