  • It's a small ComicCon film festival. 3 days of screening. The first day was in a theater in downtown and the theater was almost full. The second and the third day was fine, not that much of audience. I did some connections with the community. Travis was great with me. and I had fun at the convention. The movies they have screened was top notch. Value for money was OK.

A small town comic-con with zero attendance at the film festival. I know because I sat in the room alone with the projectionist for 2 days straight. No one comes to this festival, no one in the building even knows screenings are happening. I tried to invite people to my screening, I put up posters, tried to build some kind of buzz, but since the comic-con itself was sparsely attending (more booths than attendees), it was futile. Nice couple of people "put it on" - but they didn't bother to stay around for any of the screenings themselves, just poking their head in every hour or two before disappearing again.
