Director Biography - Huong Xuan Nguyen

My name is Huong Nguyen, I go by Hailey, and I'm a Media and Film Production student at Suffolk University. Before making this short film, I made my very first directorial short called "COPYRIGHTED." Besides, I have had multiple on-hand experiences with filmmaking, specifically as a director and a cinematographer. My production projects vary from short films, documentaries, to media news.

Director Statement

I developed the script for "Foreshadow" based on my own dreams of being stuck in a loop, of always feeling like somebody is chasing me but I cannot visualize who it is, of my interpretation of anxiety and self-consciousness. Some may call it a nightmare, I call it a nightly routine.

The production process was finished within an 8-hour shoot day, with a small crew of 9 college students. We all share a passion for filmmaking, and we're all in a student film club called RamCam, which explains why "Foreshadow" is produced by RamCam Productions.
