Director Statement

FOLLOWING started out as an idea for a web series. My team had worked on mostly heavy dramas together and we were excited to do something fun, comedic and episodic to change things up. In 2019 we shot the first three episodes of what would be a ten part expiration about actually following someone in real life. Sadly, by March of 2020, the COVID 19 pandemic shut the world down.

Unable to finish production, the full idea was never realized and the project died out. I’ve always loved this project and want to share it with the world. Believing we could all use a good laugh these days, I decided to re-visit the footage we shot, did a small round of additional photography and re-worked the story into a short film that hopefully serves as intro to feature version of the full story.

I am so proud of FOLLOWING and am excited to share the hard work and amazing talent of the cast and crew involved with the world.
