Director Biography - Simon Sepulveda

Born in Bogota, Colombia, Simon Sepulveda was introduced to the world of cinema when he made his first step. His father was a publicist and had his own events company where Simon would learn everything about cameras, lighting, sound, blocking, and so much more. When he was six, he started his first acting class, and since that day, he knew that acting and directing were his calling. Since that day, he has participated in many plays where he was both supportive and the main character. He directed his first film at the age of 15 with DECA, an acting school. Apart from his passion for acting, Simon has had the pleasure of living in many parts of the world and speaking three languages. He currently is still in High School and is currently applying to universities in the United States regarding acting and directing.

Director Statement

This film represents growing up and leaving childhood behind. Saying goodbye to the person you once were. That is perhaps why I decided to make it a silent film, in order to visualize better the change that one goes through in this change. I hope that every person who sees it can find themselves reminiscing about the child they once were; and the fear and they beauty that come from growing up.
