Flying High For The Glory of God, (Veterans Day Classic)

Pilot and world champion runner Orville Rogers trained bomber pilots in World War II, flew the B-36 on secret missions during the Korean Conflict,,ferried airplanes with JAARS to remote missionaries all over the world, and squeezed in a 31 career as a pilot. Orville also took up running at age 51 and ran his first marathon 6 years later. at age 90 he broke two world records.

With over 25 years of experience in broadcasting, he started working in faith based films in final year of film school. He went directly to Africa to fulfilling various roles in media production. Since 2009 he has been producing faith based documentaries, dramas and features.

In my career it was my first time to direct a film with a 100 year old man. Orville Rogers was extraordinary full of energy and purpose
and it was a delight capturing his amazing life on film.
