Submission Guidelines:

1. Submission fee PER ENTRY are applicable and FCEA does not offer submission waivers.

Eligibility: Content must be no older than 12 months from the festival submission date.

Video Length: Submissions should be under 30 minutes.

Format: MP4, MOV, or any high-resolution format. Please provide a link to your content.

Subtitles: English subtitles are required for non-English content.

Content Requirement: Any content that does not match the category in which it is submitted will be rejected without a refund.

Rules & Terms
1- Rights & Permissions: By submitting to the festival, you confirm that you own all rights to the film and have secured all necessary permissions for third-party materials, including music, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property. You are solely responsible for any legal issues related to unauthorized use, and FCEA bears no liability.

2- Submission Process & Eligibility: All submissions must be made through FilmFreeway or other approved platforms using an online screener—no discs, DVDs, or downloadable files. If the provided screening link is inactive or incorrect, the submission may be deemed ineligible. FCEA reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet eligibility requirements without a refund.

3- Fees & Refunds: Entry payments are non-refundable. Withdrawals, non-selection, mistaken purchases (e.g., certificates, tickets, spotlights), or event cancellations do not qualify for refunds. If a payment dispute arises, the entrant may be responsible for related fees incurred by FCEA.

4- Selection & Screening: FCEA may automatically shortlist films for screening, and once participation has been publicized, films cannot be withdrawn. Selection is not guaranteed, even for priority submissions or special invitations.

5- Communication & Disqualification: Filmmakers must respond to festival communications regarding screenings. Failure to do so or engaging in conduct that violates the Rules & Terms may result in disqualification, with potential legal action if necessary.
6- Judging & Feedback: FCEA is not required to disclose the identities of screeners or judges, notes, feedback, or details about the selection process. The festival also disclaims liability for any opinions, comments, or critiques related to submissions.

7- Promotional Use: FCEA reserves the right to use submitted film materials, including sequences, stills, and music, for promotional purposes on social media, print, and the festival website. IMDb data of associated industry members may also be shared.
