Director Statement

When I was cleaning out my garage, I came upon an antique Formica table with pleather chairs that used to belong to my grandmother in the 1950’s. And I thought wouldn’t it be cool to tell the story of friends, who get together for a weekly poker game. What would they talk about during those times? One thing led to another, and the next thing I knew I was writing a murder mystery. I was blessed with an amazing cast and crew, who worked as a family to bring my vision to life. The table even made it into the film in the final scene. It was so much fun we’re getting together again in February to shoot another period piece, this time set in the future.
