Flowers jam
Rosi and Amelia. Two women. Some would say old women. Rural. Second, third or fourth chances. A spark. A project in common with the slow tempo of Tierra de Campos, the town where Rosi lives with her husband, Alipio, where Amelia arrives one fine day.
A tired, jaded husband, with whom she runs a family business selling artisanal jam in the shops of the region. Amelia disrupts Rosi's routine when she proposes to combine her jam with her flowers. Entrepreneurship at 70? Vibrate again every morning?

AGUILAR FILM FESTIVAL
Spain
All starts with a dream, that dream which we all aspire to and many of us are relegating on the path of our lives. But my dream, make movies, has always been present. And although the time lengthened, I knew that I was getting closer to him. Well yes, I set up my own production company, because we are the generation of entrepreneurs. One more generation that no one has made it easy for, as many others. I have done audiovisual work for the most competent companies in Spain and Europe, and I have enjoyed doing it, very much. Because I have learned from every job and I have met wonderful people. That big stride brought me closer to the movies, but I needed creative freedom.
Then came a pandemic. I think this sinister character sounds familiar to all of you. Yeh, it also touched me with his malevolent tentacles, but luckily he didn’t hurt me. Because while the days passed without the phone ringing, while my clients lived their worst moments, I decided that it was time to complete my dream. I had excuses no longer, and I had all the time to get to work on a small film project. Yes, a short: “FLOWERS JAM”. A short to express all my creativity and which allowed my collaborators to give the best of themselves.
Although everything was complicated: the pre-production locked up at home, the economic issue, the uncertainty in the dates, it was about moving forward. Because we, creatives, have a social mission, to make life more pleasant for others.
But now, "it's not the best time." Yes, I know. The big companies that I ask for collaboration say it, the press says it and even my mother says it. But when is the best time? The best time is always. It’s the time when the idea flows and excites. Because this short not only excites me. Get excited all the collaborators who have joined along the way. So many people I couldn't even dream of. And so many others who encourage me with their words and unconditional help. The moment is when you want. Because money does not build ideas! (I think that is the phrase that I am going to put on the head of my bed). Ideas are built by will and sharing.
