Director Biography - David Andrew Terrell

David Andrew Terrell is a filmmaker currently based in Saigon, originally from New Orleans. He studied at Paul Mitchell, Delgado Community College, Los Angeles City College, and earned his graduate degree in filmmaking from 3IS in Paris.

David creates emotional films that explore the complexities of life, handling all aspects of production, from directing to camera work to editing. His background as a full-time musician enriches his films, allowing him to craft soundtracks that enhance the storytelling.

Inspired by filmmakers like Gregg Araki, David Lynch, and Miranda July, he is particularly interested in how color influences emotion in film. For David, the connection between color and feelings is a vital part of his creative process.
