Florence Logan also known as “Flo” grew up in Halifax County, Virginia

Being the youngest of nine siblings, of which 3 died at birth, Flo always knew “If you were born on this earth, you have a purpose.” Following college, Flo started a career in Information Technology as a Systems Analyst and enjoyed the fruits of her labor for many years.

With a vision from the Lord, Flo and her husband at the time, moved to Florida in a continued pursuit of the American dream. The Lord began to show Flo how to “war with her hands”. Flo began writing. During the process, the book “Remember What I Told You” was birthed based on a letter written to her siblings after the death of their beloved mother, Bessie Mae Logan. Later, she was lead by the Holy Spirit to revise the book and create the workbook to accompany it. Now educational and religious institutions are being introduced to the book/workbook and have received favorable feedback to include the material into a curriculum.

Upon instruction and direction of the Holy Spirit, Flo went on to write the first collection of songs for the upcoming albums entitled “Protected” and “Great Grace”. The opportunity presented itself for Flo to return back to college in 2009. While attending college, Flo finally earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from The Florida Institute of Technology ranking among the Cum Laude graduate honorees with a 3.57 GPA (how great is HIS grace)!
Flo recalls, '“[I honestly thought my lot in life was to pursue a career in the corporate arena, especially when I was given the mandate to go back to school and complete my degree. Later I discovered through revelation, He was teaching me to finish what I start, so I stood on Philippians 1:6 (NIV)- being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Needless to say, however, when the Lord told me, “I have anointed you to war with your hands and sing to the nations”, my reply was, “You sure Lord!” (As if He didn’t know). Another scripture was revealed and has been written and sealed on my heart - And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. (Luke 1:45).]””
Now under the direction of the Holy Spirit and the support of family and friends, Flo enjoys her new assignment from the Lord which includes singing/songwriting, acting, voice-overs, writing manuscripts and screenplays, and inspirational speaking engagements. You may see her face on a few billboards in the Central Florida area and surrounding counties, Lynx (Orlando) - a bus system run by the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority, serving the greater Orlando, Florida area in Orange, Seminole, Polk and Osceola counties and prime TV for commercials - all for Advent Health.
Flo has had the opportunity to be cast in 3 major movies1 short film and 2 mainstream theatre presentations at the Cocoa Village Playhouse. Her last major theatre performance was the play Fearless (at the Titusville Performing Arts building), the story of Harry T. and Harriette Moore. Flo played the role of his youngest daughter, Evangeline. Also a film production The House On Misty Lane premiering January of 2020 where she played the “feisty” school teacher is now in her repertoire.

Her latest single, “Just Get Up” is making quite the entrance and is available now everywhere major music is sold, which also made it to the Grammy ballot. Just Get Up was her first song that she actually received royalties on from BMI.
Flo is now working on the soundtrack and movie script for “Back By Popular Demand”. The first song on the soundtrack, Back By Popular Demand has been released and is now in online stores everywhere (Itunes, Apple, Spotify, IHeart, etc) The music video and instrumental are up on Youtube.
The movie will begin shooting in the last quarter of this year. In the meantime, 4 more songs for the soundtrack will be produced and released.
