Five Things to Love
Maggie has a problem. She is an alcoholic. But she's not quite ready to say it out loud. After a particularly bad night that lands her in jail, Maggie is finally ready to admit that she needs help. In "Five Things to Love" we follow Maggie as she claws her way back to the light through loss, friendship, love, and her newfound strength.
"Five Things to Love" is the stand alone pilot episode to the research-based anthology series about mental health titled "Anamorphosis".

I am passionate about creating film and television that inform, inspire, and bring people together. Storytelling has the power to spark change, and I am especially driven to amplify voices that often go unheard, shedding light on social injustices and the human experiences that connect us all.
Growing up in Austin, Texas and now living in Los Angeles, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for both the history and evolution of the world around me. I believe that film is more than just a medium—it is a call to action, a means of understanding, and a bridge between diverse perspectives.
At the heart of this project is a simple yet urgent idea: to reshape the way we see mental health. Each episode presents a cinematic, narrative-driven exploration of different mental health conditions through a research-based lens.
Mental health struggles touch nearly everyone. For me, this series is deeply personal. I’ve witnessed firsthand the stigma, the misunderstanding, and the loneliness that can accompany mental illness. We chose the name Anamorphosis because it represents a shift in perception—a transformation of the way something is seen. Mental health deserves that transformation.
If this series helps even one person feel seen, understood, or less alone, then we have succeeded.
