Director Statement

I often felt lonely and helpless when I was little. Isolated from my friends, I also felt trapped at home. Thus, I created an imaginary brother to be my companion. He was fictional but saved me from falling apart. This imagination that human has is a beautiful invisible shelter that only exists to hold us together and help us function in life. We are also deluded by ourselves and always a step further from so-called reality. Thus, it is hard to say how real your life is. The main character in the story, Eliska, has an imaginary boyfriend, but her fantasy will vanish sooner or later. When she is caught as a cheater, she wants to save the friendship between her and the boys. However, she eventually has to choose between them. The relationship between the three people is a metaphor for our relationship between realities and fantasies. The story is not only the seek of perfect love, but also a discussion of our existence.
