It is love at first sight when Rob meets Lee online, that is, until Lee stands Rob up on their first in-person date. With everything in question, Rob must then decide if he will let it go or confront Lee and fight for the relationship he has longed for.

Growing up in central Ohio, Zach did not realize he wanted to be a filmmaker until he was at the end of completing a Business and Communications degree at the Ohio State University.
Recognizing his love for films, and after being swooned by the first of the "Hobbit" live-action movies, Zach decided to follow his mate to New York City to pursue a career in filmmaking.
Since moving to NYC in 2013, Zach has written and produced the feature film "Dwarves of Demrel" and has co-written and filmed a number of other short films. "First Date" is Zach's directorial debut.
What I wanted to explore in "First Date" was how much you could push the idea of love-at-first-sight in a digital age, as well as how far that feeling can carry you.
After meeting Lee online, everything appears to be working out for Rob (our lead). He has waited a long time to try seriously dating, enduring the litany of awful profiles and pick-up attempts that comes with seeking out love online.
When things begin to go awry on their first date, his feelings and determination are put to the test. Was his connection with Lee love-at-first-sight? And if so, how much is he willing to fight for it?
