First Ascent on the Drus

For three long days, some images taken with a telescope, broadcast
in live a first ascent attempt on the historic west face of the famous ‘Drus’ mountains in the french Alps.
Real alpinism, with its slow and naturel beat, and its scary suspense due to the live broadcast.
This maybe unprecedented TV report remind the oldest Desmaison, Flematti and others ascents, which were at that time monitored by the radio waves.
But climbers are so far and so insignifiant in this iconic face, which continue to change due to huge crumbling !

Are they going to reach the summit? Is this vertical way only a virgin line? Will the ‘Sirocco’ violent gusts let them pass?
