Fire in Heart

Tenmoku tea bowl is a strange and mysterious name in the history of pottery. To answer the questions, we go from the collection of Jiang tea bowls(tenmokus) of Southern Song dynasty in the National Palace Museum in Taipei to Japan where it’s developed onto next level, then go on to China’s birthplace of Jiang tea bowl to explore.

We see pottery artists’ ambitions and the results of restoring yohen tenmoku. We retrace to the prime of tea culture in Southern Song dynasty and to its decline, and the follow its course of comeback. In the end, we go back to Taiwan to see how the new generation of pottery artists apply local ideas and concepts to create a new future for tenmoku.

Director Biography - Guo-liang Jiang, Zhi-Qi Huang, Guang-Cheng Shie

江國梁 ( Guo-liang Jiang)
自由影像工作者，除擔任導演外，也兼及攝影和剪輯。主要關注藝術和人權方面的題材，作品曾入圍台北電影節、台灣國際紀錄片影展、美國西雅圖影展、女性影展競賽。曾入圍法國巴黎真實電影節、英國倫敦華語視像藝術節、CNEX國際華人紀錄片影展、嘉義國際藝術紀錄片影展、影響影展等影展觀摩。
Guo-liang Jiang
A freelancer, besides being a director, Jiang also does photography and editing. Jiang mainly focusing on themes of art and human rights. His works have been shortlisted for Taipei Film Festival, Taiwan International Documentary Film Festival, Seattle Film Festival..ect.

自由影像工作者，美國加州州立大學Fullerton分校電影碩士。

謝光誠 (Guang-Cheng Shie)
謝光誠導演，影像作品橫跨 電影長片、紀錄片、實驗短片與電視CF商業廣告拍攝多年。生於彰化，畢業於台大社會系社會學理論組畢業（1992）與London International Film School電影學校（1999），現為自由影像導演。
