Fire Exit

Fire Exit series arose from the question: what is safety?
The initial impulse for creating the series was to reflect on the impact of collective decision-making on everyday thinking. The resulting conflict became the theme. Fire Exit series contrast freedom and confinement of language interpretation. I wanted to emphasise overthinking in conflict. The sound signature for the films is one-word script (for the actors to carry where and how they wanted). My process is based on collaboration. We explored thought routes from a single word, inviting the viewers to share in creative freedom by mapping out characters' cognitive realities and constructing their own narratives for the piece.
