Finds on mov(i)e
Starting with MAMbo | Museum of Modern Art's exhibition project titled Rilevamenti d'archivi, performance, creatività diffusa e sperimentazioni artistiche a Bologna e in Emilia Romagna negli anni Settanta, curated by Bologna-based Uliana Zanetti, Finds on mov(i)e moves from the historical research of artistic and experimental practices of that period to branch out and forward into other reflections on the archive, memory and modes of assemblage.
Taking its cue from Sopralluogo di un film sulle tracce di Alice, a collective film born out of Gianni Celati's Alice disambientata seminar, and Mi lecca come un gelato by Orecchie D'Asino, the project will get lost among the different sources collected and assembled together in a kind of long-distance confrontation on different contexts but with similar motifs, figures, settings and images. Assuming disambientation as a guideline and forgoing the ambition to construct a linear narrative, OD'A brings to light affinities and correspondences that return at different times and allow the Mad Hatter to continue to burst through our doubts.
