Rules & Terms

The dialogue is required to be in English. There are no requirements as to when your project was filmed.

No hard copies will be accepted. Please use submission link. Scripts must be submitted in PDF.

The person(s) submitting the project must have the legal authority to submit the film and allow it to be screened publicly. By submitting, the submitter confirms they have all the necessary rights for the screening of the film submitted, to be exhibited at the festival.

Student entries require proof, i. e. current student I.D. which can be emailed to info@filmendowment.com.

Selected videos will be shown at the festival. Excerpts from selected films, trailers and stills may also be screened or published online to assist in promoting the festival.

This in person festival will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025 @ 1:00 pm @ the Nashville Public Library.

    I was ecstatic to learn that I was a finalist for the Film Endowment Festival! Moreover, I was so happy for three of my characters, who won in the best actor and child actors, respectively.

    My additional submission, the music video Magic Eyes, one best cinematography.

    It was an especially memorable Festival since I had never won for two official selections.

    The communication was great and it was so great to meet the people behind the festival. I really enjoyed the personal touch of that. I look forward to participating again.
