Rules and Regulations for Film Crash
The mission of Film Crash (Festival) is to build community and create a platform for filmmakers to reach an audience for their work. Since submission of a film constitutes acceptance of these Entry Rules & Regulations (by filmmakers and their agents), please review this document carefully.
Submission
Submissions are accepted only through FilmFreeway. No hard copy submissions will be accepted.
Language
Non-English language works must have English subtitles at the time submitted. Dialogue lists will not be accepted.
Work-in-progress version
Work-in-progress will not be accepted. All works must be in completed form.
Fee
Entry fees are in U.S. Dollars, are per film and are non-refundable. The Festival reserves the right to disqualify a submission, without refund of any kind, if eligibility requirements are not met including if eligibility status changes post-submission.
Awards & Prizes
Film Crash reserves the right to alter the titles and descriptions of all awards and prizes.
Eligibility
To be eligible for consideration:
(1) Entrants must fully comply with these Entry Rules & Regulations, including all deadlines, film length, entry material and other requirements.
(2) Non-English language works must have English subtitles at the time submitted. Dialogue lists will not be accepted.
If your work is selected
(1) You must execute a release agreement wherein you (i) accept responsibility for obtaining any and all clearances necessary to exhibit your film at Film Crash; (ii) warrant that you have the rights necessary to exhibit your film at Film Crash; and (iii) indemnify and hold harmless Film Crash its parent company, its affiliates, and subsidiaries and any of their respective directors, officers, employees, and representatives against any claim arising out of exhibition of your film at Film Crash
(2) Upon notification of Acceptance filmmakers must provide access to a digital file of their film as per instructions.
