Filling the House

Generation LatinX brings you it's first feature film set at an improv comedy theater in Chicago, Illinois. Filling the House follows the lives and dreams the bright-eyed, bushy-tailed newcomer, the talented teacher that's plateaued, and the theater owner that found fame not to be what she'd hoped it would be.

Director Biography - Mishell Livio

Mishell first started directing musical numbers with kids in the neighborhood at the age of 4. She acted a fool and was thrown out of many a church musical in elementary school. While sporadically working as an actress on TV and in Film in LA, she worked as a professional model, but decided she liked eating and having opinions too much, so she took the leap into standup and improv comedy. She landed a morning radio gig in 2013 at Rock 102.1KFMA-FM in Tucson, Arizona with Fook. She then journeyed to Salt Lake City to ALT 101.9 KHTB-FM and eventually ended up in Chicago on 101.1 WKQX-FM. She created the production company Generation LatinX in 2017 in Chicago, IL. She directs and teaches comedy with Comedy Sportz Chicago, The Second City Training Center, iO Chicago's 10,000 hours program, and Laugh Out Loud just to name a few.
