Fidae Sbaai is a Moroccan filmmaker, screenwriter, editor, and graphic designer based in Tangier. With over 15 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, he holds a Professional License in Cinema and Audiovisual, a Specialized Technician Diploma in Infographics, and an advanced diploma in French (DALF C1). Fidae has created numerous cinematic projects, including the short films “Instinct (2012)”, “The Riddle (2014)”, and “The Chamber (2024)”, as well as the documentaries “To me... (2010)” and Once Kachela (2011). He also participated in the Chevrolet Middle East project at the Original Narrative Film Festival in Dubai, alongside the presentation of his short film “The Riddle”.
Throughout his career, Fidae has won several awards, including the Audience Award for his documentary “To me...” at the Cinéma Jeunes Talents Festival in Tangier. His short film “The Riddle” earned him the Best Director Award at the International Festival in Tyre, Lebanon, the Grand Prize at the International Youth Film Festival in Palestine, as well as numerous top awards at national festivals in Morocco.
