Our international shortfilm festival takes place in Lenzing, a small village near the beautiful lake Attersee (Austria). One week in every year, we celebrate the genre shortfilm (fiction, documantary and animation) and welcome filmmakers from all over the world. What makes our festival special are the open discussions between filmmakers, audience and jury after each film block.
People love our side events which are a funny get-together with fine food and live-music.

This festival is one of my all time favorites! It takes place in a small town on Lake Attersee in Austria and is one of the most beautiful places I’ve traveled to. The festival staff takes great care to make sure you are taken care of and the screening itself is top quality. The theater is beautiful and color and sound were great! Also, so many filmmakers come from around the world to participate which makes the experience a lot of fun! I highly recommend this festival!

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the amazing experience myself and scriptwriter Pål Espen Kilstad had at the recent film festival in Lenzing, Austria.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and embraced by the warmth of the festival team and the local community. The film screenings were fantastic, and we were blown away by the creativity and talent of the filmmakers from around the world.

What truly exceeded our expectations was winning the main prize. We are still in disbelief and so grateful for this recognition. Thank you to all members of the jury.

Thank you for creating such a wonderful and inclusive event, and for providing a platform for filmmakers to showcase their work and connect with each other. We will never forget the memories that were made at this festival and the connections that was established with fellow filmmakers and the community.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to the next Festival of Nations and the opportunity to be a part of such a fantastic celebration of culture and creativity once again.

    Warm regards,
