El Festival de los Fracasos es un espacio educativo y terapéutico que invita a cineastas amateurs y experimentados, a aceptar y compartir sus historias de fracaso: sus proyectos más íntimos llenos de esfuerzo, honestidad y aprendizaje; teniendo como objetivo, que el festival sea un espacio de networking constante entre miembros del rubro, ya que a pesar del creciente número de integrantes y creación de proyectos audiovisuales en nuestro país, la conexión entre los mismos es escasa. Si queremos convertirnos en una verdadera industria, primero hay que ser comunidad; y para que eso ocurra, debemos empezar a experimentar, innovar y a colaborar entre nosotros.
OBJETIVOS
Desmitificar la connotación negativa del fracaso dentro del proceso creativo, siendo este inherente y necesario para nuestro aprendizaje y mejoría tanto a nivel personal, como profesional.
Desde el cargo de dirección, hasta las asistencias (en todas sus variedades), congregarlos a que compartan sus experiencias de trabajo y sobre su proceso de aprendizaje, con el objetivo de darles visibilidad y reconocer su importancia dentro de una producción audiovisual.
Interconectar las diversas asociaciones del sector, ya que a pesar de su gran variedad y aumento en los últimos años, estas no se conocen entre sí. Tenemos el objetivo de generar conversación y debate entre las mismas, sobre temas coyunturales y de importancia social.
Descentralizar la producción del cine nacional, desde una perspectiva regional y de género.
Crear comunidad e incentivar el desarrollo de proyectos por medio de talleres, charlas, asesorías y networking.

The Fail Film Festival is an educational and therapeutic space that invites amateur and experienced filmmakers to accept and share their failure stories: their most intimate projects full of effort, honesty, and learning; aiming for the festival to be a constant networking space between members of the industry, since, despite the growing number of members and the creation of audiovisual projects in our country, the connection between them is scarce. OBJECTIVES
Demystifying the negative connotation of failure within the creative process, and is inherent and necessary for our learning and improvement both personally, and professionally.
From the management position to the assistants (in all its varieties), bring them together to share their work experiences and their learning process, with the aim of giving them visibility and recognizing their importance within an audiovisual production.
Interconnect the various associations in the sector, since, despite their great variety and increase in recent years, they do not know each other. Our objective is to generate conversation and debate among them, on current issues and of social importance.
Decentralize the production of national cinema, from a regional and gender perspective.
Create community and encourage the development of projects through workshops, talks, consultancies, and networking.
Se puede postular al festival cualquier proyecto, sin importar su género cinematográfico, que esté en su etapa inicial de pre producción o en work in progress, con el objetivo de que tengan acceso a futuros aliados y herramientas para el desarrollo y culminación de su proyecto.

FLAGSHIPS:
Directores y productores reconocidos, a través de la proyección de sus primeros cortos o películas, nos cuentan sus historias de rodaje, sobre en lo que fallaron, lo que nunca volverían a hacer, y sobretodo; lo que aprendieron.

This is an exclusive space for directors and producers with experience. If you want to share your first short film or experimental project, this is the place for you. during the projection, you'll have the opportunity to share your first stories as filmmakers, those mistakes you would never make again.
STUDENT PROJECTS:
El FEF les brindará un espacio de su programación a emprendimientos de realizadores audiovisuales para que puedan promocionar sus productos o servicios, a manera de spot publicitario de forma gratuita.

If you are at college or another institution, this is the spot for you. Students will be able to share their short films, music videos, experimental films, and other kinds of visual projects. Remember, we care about the quality of the project, but most importantly is your story behind the process. WIP:
A todos los interesados, pero principalmente a los inscritos a nuestra convocatoria y que hayan postulado su work in progress, recibirán un taller de pitch basado en la perspectiva de un jurado experimentado y la postura del participante.
